- Images have also been added to the SEEXML schema.
-
Leica Viva Support
Full support for the Leica Viva instruments in LISCAD includes:
- Direct import of the Viva DBX; Points Lines & Areas
- Direct export of the Viva DBX; Points Lines & Areas, Roads & DTM
- Import photos from Leica
-
Geometry Reconstruction & Filtering
The new Filter Points on Line & Grade command removes redundant points and
lines (typically from large engineering data sets) while still maintaining the geometric integrity of the original design.
This puts the data in a far more useful and compact form for export to other systems such as automated grader systems and field based
road stakeout software.
- Filters out points and lines that are on line and grade
- Removes points and lines that are redundant to the geometric shape of the linear objects
- Reconstructs the intended geometry optionally converting appropriate lines to arcs
-
Comprehensive Comparison Reporting
This new report compares points to a 2D or 3D linear object, while also
optionally reporting on the point location and relationship to a reference alignment. It is excellent for as constructed reporting.
- The points and linear object may be in different projects allowing as constructed and design data to be completely separate.
- The linear objects may be lines, arcs, spirals, splines, alignments or profiles.
-
MX/Genio Import
The MX/Genio Import has been extended to allow complex design objects
from MX/Genio to be imported directly into SEE as alignments, long and cross sections.
-
AutoCAD Support
The AutoCAD import & exports have been enhanced to provide support for AutoCAD 2010/2011/2012.
-
Enhanced Transformation Management
The management of transformations has been enhanced to add support for
1 Step, 2 Step and Classical 3D Transformations.
-
Exponential Speed Gains
Speed gains have been obtained in most areas of the system as a result of research into performance enhancements and optimisations.
-
New Leica Field Operation for arcs from non-sequential observations
A new Leica Field Operation Code (8/-6) has been added to the system. It allows for multiple
three point arcs to be formed using three non-sequentially observed points. The three points on the each can be observed at any time
during the survey but must have the same code and string identifier. This is ideal for surveying arc strings in cross section order.
-
Trimble Field Operations extended - Create LISCAD field file from Trimble controller or Trimble Access
Trimble controllers now support all LISCAD field operations and create the LISCAD field file directly.
Please refer to Creating a LISCAD Field File from Trimble Survey Controller/Trimble Access.
-
SEE Group names extended from 30 to 255 characters
This allows very long and explanatory group names, and means that very long layer names possible in AutoCAD or
other systems can be imported or exported in full.
-
SBG UMC 3D Power Grade system supported
New SBG UMC 3D export options are available to support export of Lines
and Surfaces to this system.
-
MicroSurvey FieldGenius Support
This unit is now supported for field transfer input and output.
-
Support for ePlan*
Support has been implemented in LISCAD 10.0 for ePlan - the Australian data transfer standard for cadastral survey plan data.
Data can be exported directly from SEE to a CIF (Cadastral Survey Information File) file which is required for the digital
lodgement of cadastral survey plan data in Australia.
-
Landonline Enhancements
Enhancements have been made to the New Zealand Landonline interface to support the New Cadastral Rules 2010.
-
Examine Line Command Enhanced
The "Computations/Examine/Line" command has been enhanced to highlight all points on the line.
-
Improved Model Reporting
Reports that require model selection have been enhanced to ensure that when the report is run, the currently active model is put
into the Model Selection section of the report dialog.
-
Move Point Command Enhanced
The "Computations/Edit/Move/Point/Freehand" command is now BLOCK sensitive.
-
AutoCAD / MicroStation Import Improvements
The import of AutoCAD and MicroStation
files has been enhanced to ensure that the layer state of the CAD file is reflected in the SEE file.
-
New Import 12da file
The 12da format has been added to the import options.
-
12d Export Enhanced
The 12d Model exports ("Task/Data Conversions/Export/12d Model" & "Task/Data Conversions/Export/QLD Main Roads 12d Model") are now
exporting text objects to 12d text strings.
-
Leica Code List Modifications
The code lists for Leica TPS300a, 400, 700 & 800 have been modified to ensure that, when used in conjunction with
Operation Code 27 (Alternate Feature Code), the correct Code & String Definition is coming through to the FLD file.
-
LISCAD 9 Support
LISCAD 10.0 files can be exported to LISCAD 9.0 via "Task/Data Conversions/Export/LISCAD 9.x" and LISCAD 9.0 files can be
